Equine ASC for Bone Repair

In this study, three-dimensional implants loaded with equine adipose-derived stem cells (eASC) were implanted into experimentally-produced cranial defects in nude rats to investigate the capacity to regenerate bone. Ostoegenesis of fresh and cultured equine ASC was monitored noninvasively at 3, 7, and 12* weeks using micro-CT.
